Well, all I can say in a good way about what happened is that
a) she was amazing as usual "Why did I put everybody in Storybrooke when I could have just brought them here"

b) At the very least we'll get something interesting from her next week

Other than that, Regina was amazing this episode. Her scenes with talking Emma down were perfect!!!

Regina calming down Emma was really the only parts I liked TBH. Everyone else just fell waaaay to neatly into place. I didn't even really care about the flashbacks

I understand what you mean.

I actually really enjoy Abby Ross as young Emma so I do like seeing her in flashbacks but some of that Lily stuff did just conveniently fall into place. Like tracking Emma to her new foster home AFTER she was with Ingrid?

I loved Regina, though. The road trip with Emma was good, probably the best parts of the episode because we actually got shown evidence of onscreen character development with their dialogue and scenes, not just plot driving them. Something this show has been lacking as of late, in my honset opinion.

Loved Regina calming down Emma.
But I was a bit bored by the flashbacks. The actresses were very good, but what I was thinking the whole time was like "yes, convenient"

Seriously. I was completely in love with outlaw quee n especially in the beginning when it was a story about second chances. Then when they brought back zelena as Marian i was Loke oh cool twist. Then they did this tonight. It's just annoying. At least the whole glamor thing progresses the story. This does nothing. Just drama. Regina deserves better. Idk how they will salvage this now.

Maybe they just do not care or they do not think anything needs to be salvaged? Only we think it?

Granted, it is their creation, the writing team can do what it wants. And they likely will having four seasons secured under their belt and a fifth season as a basic guarantee.

I was not a fan of the Marian resurrection twist and what position it put Regina in as her executioner. They still left that annoying tidbit in even with the Marian is Zelena reveal. That reveal was something to help avert some of the resurrected wife mess but it appears that soap opera angles are all they can come up with for OQ and I am over it. There are still plot holes in the whole Marian-Robin story in how he believed her to really die (a job that was his fault?) but it appears they did not put much time or care into any development of this story.

I do not hate Robin. The writing is the problem for me. It's just that Regina is my favorite character and I am tired of how tortured they like to write Regina over and over again!

^Again, hopeful, by making it another Zelena's lie and get done with her asap? Every villain, but Cruella I guess, in this show has been shown to deserve a 2nd chance. IMO Zelena didn't, never did. So I see it as a "Peter Pan" story. "we want you to think they might get better. But they won't. They are evil, and you are not gonna regret they are gone"

The only reason I regretted Pan being gone is
a) I loved the actor
b) He was a realistic bad-ass enemy

But I liked that he was never redeemed. Some people are just bad. That's it

Yeah, lol, I no longer believe this is about any second chances for Zelena. I mean, why give Regina a possible sister relationship that has meaning down the road when said sister can just trick Regina's true love into impregnating her instead?

In the meantime, Regina will likely spare Zelena because of the baby or Robin will make the argument to do so.

This is ridiculous. Listen to you guys. You're jumping the gun, because you don't like the twist. What did you think? That Outlaw Queen will end happily by the end of this season? The story isn't over yet. What do you want? Snow and Charming (Seasons 3 to 4a)? When they were completely boring? I don't.

When the series ends, then consider making your final judgment.

Can Regina get another love interest? Because this mess can't be salvaged.

I know everyone is angry because of the last few minutes, but can we also talk about the "amazing" message that Lily was fated to be dark and apparently Emma was fated to always make better choices? Screw free will, right. The only good scene in the episode was when Regina convinced Emma not to kill Lily.
